GUAVA is thrilled to announce the launch of the GUAVA Innovation Awards, recognizing outstanding, innovative, and transformative teaching practices in Vietnamese language education. These awards celebrate your dedication and showcase the incredible work that happens in Vietnamese classrooms.
What are the GUAVA Innovation Awards? The GUAVA Innovation Awards aim to:
- Recognize and celebrate creative and effective teaching methods in Vietnamese language education.
- Encourage Vietnamese language educators to explore new approaches and share their best practices.
- Provide financial support to educators who are pushing the boundaries of Vietnamese language instruction.
Who is eligible to apply? The awards are open to all current GUAVA members. If you’re not a member yet, no worries! Join GUAVA today to gain access to this exciting opportunity and a wealth of resources for Vietnamese language educators.
What are the award categories? We invite submissions in four key areas:
- Instructional Innovation: Do you have a unique approach to teaching Vietnamese? Share your creative strategies and methods!
- Education Technology: Are you using innovative apps, tools, or platforms to enhance Vietnamese language learning? We want to hear about it!
- Community Engagement: Do you have initiatives that connect Vietnamese language learners with their families, communities, and culture? Tell us your story!
- Professional Development: Have you created innovative approaches to help Vietnamese language educators grow professionally? Share your ideas!
What are the prizes?
GUAVA will be awarding three prizes, ranging from $150 to $300, to educators demonstrating the most innovative, impactful, and scalable approaches in each category. Winners will also be featured on the GUAVA website, gaining recognition for their outstanding work.
